Dear Beloved Parishioners,
As we approach All Souls’ Day on November 2nd, I want to take a moment to remind you of the significance of this special day in our liturgical calendar. All Souls’ Day is a time for us to come together as a community, reflecting on the lives of those who have gone before us.
This sacred day reminds us of the communion we share with the faithful departed. We believe that our prayers can assist them, and it is a beautiful expression of love and remembrance.
I encourage each of you to take part in the Mass that will be celebrated in honor of our deceased loved ones. This year, we will offer Sunday Mass to commemorate their lives, at 10 am in Eglish and 12:30 pm in Spanish.
We will pray for the souls of our parishioners listed and placed on the altar the entire month of November. Please write their names and donation or offering in the envelopes or call the church office. An envelope suggests an offering similar to any other Mass stipend. Your intention will be added with or without contribution.
Additionally, I invite you to bring a photo of a loved one to display on our remembrance altar. This act of remembrance not only honors their memory but also strengthens our bond as a community of faith. The pictures will remain until Thanksgiving weekend and the framed pictures cannot exceed 8”x10” size.
Let us gather together in prayerful remembrance, supporting one another as we reflect on the love and joy our departed loved ones brought into our lives. May our prayers and acts of remembrance bring us comfort and peace.
May the souls of our departed brothers and sisters rest in peace. Amen

Blessed are you, Lord God,
Creator of body and mind and heart;
you have sent the Spirit of wisdom and knowledge to guide your people in all their ways.
At the beginning of this new school year we implore your mercy:
bless the students, teachers, and staff of NLRCA,
that together we may grow in faith, hope, and love
as we learn from you and each other
how to follow your Son Jesus.
Expand the horizons of our minds,
that we may grow in wisdom, understanding, and knowledge;
deepen our commitment to seek the truth of your ways; and enliven our faith to reach out to those in need.
Glory and praise to you, Lord God,
in the Church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever.
R/. Amen
