North Little Rock Catholic Academy is proud to participate in this year’s Red Ribbon
Week! This week is focused on alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention
and awareness. To celebrate, we will have the following theme days at school:
Monday: 10/25 Wear Red Day- Students may wear their favorite red top with uniform
bottoms.
Tuesday: 10/26 Be On A Drug Free Team Day- Wear your favorite team’s jersey or
sports shirt with uniform bottoms.
$2 donation
Wednesday: 10/27 - Put a Cap on Drugs Day - Wear your favorite hat to school!
Thursday: 10/28 - Drug Free Movie Day - Watch a drug awareness-related documentary
or movie with your class in the afternoon.
Friday: 10/29 Red Sock Day- Wear red socks to support drug awareness!
Any other activities in the classroom will be at the discretion and approval of the teacher and
Mrs. Troutman. All donations will go to charities that are fighting addiction and raising
awareness about the social cost of drug use. Teachers, please send your classes’ donations to
Mr. LeMay once you have collected them on Tuesday.
